Our client is a fast-paced and innovative construction company that specialises in producing sound-ready stages ready for the film and TV industry to use. They currently have two live sites in the Hampshire and Berkshire regions with multiple aluminium buildings for sets, with plans to grow further afield in the near future.
Due to rapid expansion and demand from the film industry they are looking for experienced Site Managers to ensure smooth running of construction and set-up of their stages and buildings.
Duties will include using expertise in the following;
o – Health & Safety management
o – CDM principal contractor duties
o – Daily coordination of site activity
o – Subcontractor management
o – Review and sign-off of documentation
o – Site team coordination
o – Client communications
o – Work inspections
* Minimum 5 years site management experience
* Experience of managing building services projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work without supervision and to use your own initiative and experience to fulfil the company’s commitments.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to get involved in something a bit different and to run a crew of 35 people on site ranging from designers to builders.
It will be a rewarding role which requires someone with the right mindset to pull all of these aspects together seamlessly and drive forward in a very fast paced environment. Because of the nature of the work we are also looking for someone with the right sort of personality to motivate and lead a multi-disciplinary team. We also need somebody who understands the importance of discretion as due to the nature of the work there will be the need for non disclosure agreements and so on.
